How to prevent your account from being hacked, and information about hacking.
First off, the most common way to get hacked by a person, is allowing them to send you something over an instant messenger or e-mail. They can attach keyloggers with the files, which will log everything you type, including your passwords, any of them. In other words, don't accept unknown files from people, ESPECIALLY, if they end in .exe.
Second, some people use programs that continously try upwards of 50,000 different passwords on accounts. The password list is huge, but does not combine many words together, and is not very creative like you should be when finding passwords. Using multiple words, or words and numbers, will make it so that the program will most likely not be able to run your password, because it will probably not be on the list. In other words, keep your passwords complex, if you use numbers, throw in a letter, if you use 1 or 2 simple word passwords, throw in a number.
Thirdly, keep your security level on high, so they need to hack your e-mail as well as your gunbound account if they want your avatar. If you use different passwords for your e-mail and your gunbound account, this will knock off the chances of you being hacked due to password running programs.
Knowing that, and following it, will ensure that you will MOST LIKELY not get hacked. I hope this helps.
